Creating a community

Some time ago - in September to be precise, during the medieval fair of Aubusson - I had the opportunity to meet admirers of my work. Not being on social networks, nor having a workshop open to the public where they can meet me, it was difficult to follow my entrepreneurial adventures and support my work locally. One of them then suggested that I create a server on Discord!
Discord is an instant messaging platform, with the possibility of voice calls. In addition to an operation that resembles Skype, it offers the possibility of creating servers with chat rooms.
So I opened the Imaginarium Bazar server (link at the bottom of this article) in order to create and develop a community around my business. To join this server, no need to send a "friend request", just click on the link and be registered on Discord. Although the server is, for the moment, in French, it is not excluded that I open a room for our English-speaking friends if their number increases. The important thing for me is to share my know-how and to offer a respectful and warm space for exchange around creation.
I decided to split my server into several rooms, so that each member can choose the topics they want to participate in. So you can find:
a chat room, where all members can introduce themselves and chat in a good-natured and respectful manner;
an event fair, where I share the dates of the events in which my company participates;
a salon of sewing tips and tricks, where I share my good ideas and where members can ask me all their questions relating to the field of sewing;
a creation sharing room, dedicated to members of my community, where they are encouraged to show their creations in order to boost everyone's creativity;
a question and answer room, to be able to answer all questions relating to my work and my company.
The number of salons and the type of topics covered is not definitive and may change over time and depending on demand.
So if you are looking for a caring space where you can develop your sewing knowledge and/or your creativity, join us!
