Obi Belt
99€ or 33€/month, 3 months

Care
Wash at 40°C maximum or dry clean by a professional.
No tumble drying or bleaching
Strong ironing
My advice: To avoid creases while drying, lay the belt flat or on a hanger. When ironing, don't "squish" the fabric with the iron to avoid making it shiny (keep the iron's weight down and don't rest it entirely on the fabric). If a crease persists, dampen the area before ironing.
Linen is a material that lives and evolves with washing. It will become more comfortable and softer over time. It is a natural material, so there is no need to wash it too often.
Description
Discover this beautiful belt made from high-quality European linen, hand-printed using the linocut technique.
This belt is reversible! You can wear it on the printed side or the plain side, and even tie the knot at the front or back. That gives you 4 different ways to wear it (see the video for inspiration).
Originally, the obi belt was made from satin or stiff silk and used to secure the kimono. It is an essential accessory in traditional Japanese attire.

Production
This belt is made to order, with a focus on ethical, ecological, and responsible craftsmanship. It also allows me to make use of fabric scraps from clothing orders, reducing waste and giving new life to beautiful materials.
Please note that your order may take several weeks — or even months — to complete depending on the number of requests. It’s important to keep this in mind.
If you want to know more about how ordering works, feel free to check out my article "How to order?". I’m also available on social media if you have any questions.
