A while ago, I had my first client for my sewing service. Mrs. P. brought me her father's suit pants to have them repaired. Seeing no point in buying new ones, she asked me if I could do something.
The repair to be done was at the bottom of the left leg, at the heel (first photo). Action plan: unpick the twill tape and the invisible hem, place a piece of iron-on adhesive over the hole, raise the fold of the hem by one centimeter, sew the tape back together and make an invisible hem. And don't forget to do the second leg! And there you have it, it's done. One pair of pants saved and a satisfied customer.
